​Recycle Rainbow, an award winning interactive art piece, is a mural created from recycled plastic bottle caps.   The artists, Jim Strauss and  Rebecca Archuleta, use recycled materials to build the bases and the custom design.  The background is colored to  indicate where the bottle caps should be placed.  Participants are encouraged to place recycled caps to fill in the mural.  Recycle Rainbow won the 2017 Environmental Excellence Award for Community Outreach from the City of Plano and a Micro grant award from Burners without Borders in 2018.
